Nozbone Benchmark Contest 2016
The 8th annual Nozbone Benchmark contest will take place on September 25th in Paris, with an increased prize money, new original obstacles, amazing skateboarding and good fun!
The format : do a line (at least 2 consecutive tricks) on the benches and the obstacles. The jury will keep 2 of the best skaters of the heats to access into the next round, up to the finals.
The winners will share the 3500€ prize money : 1500€ for the 1st, 900€ for the second, 600€ for the third (+ 500€ best trick).
New in 2016 : anyone can get into the semi-finals through an instagram competition. Post your video of 3 consecutive tricks (including a bench trick, in the street) and tag @nozbone @nikesb #benchmarkcontest2016. A jury will select the best two skaters who will be invited and will compete directly into the semi-finals.
About the obstacles : one of the existing benches will be customised like in the past years and a special obstacle will be built and inspired by the infamous Parisian Buren’s columns.
Prize giving will happen in the nearby theatre MK2 Bibliothèque at 7PM where the Paris surf & skateboard film festival is taking place, and will be followed by a surprise Nozbone/Nike sB collab’ video and a party starring Nicolas Malinowsky (sound Pellegrino) and friends will close the week-end.
