Nike SB bring the heat to the heart of Europe for the Berlin Open at the Nike SB Shelter, Skatehalle 30th June – 2nd July.
As part of the Nike SB European series that elevates skateboarding across Europe’s most exciting cities throughout the summer, the Berlin Open welcomes skate pros from across the globe, top AMs looking to take their next step and unknowns ready to launch themselves onto an unsuspecting international stage.
Housed in the jewel of East Berlin, the all-concrete, undercover, Nike SB Shelter guarantees great competition intensity inside, and the joys of the beer garden outside where spectators can see all the action on the huge live screen.
From 50 riders in pre-qualifiers, 10 will progress to challenge 70 invited riders in the qualification heats, all competing for a total prize purse of €20,000. Throw into the
mix a ‘Welcome to Berlin Session’ at Project DSS on the Friday to fire things off,
one of the best amped up crowds on the comp circuit, and the ballistics of the Best
Trick to close the Sunday and you have yourselves a recipe for top a draw summer skate weekend.
