Memory Screen: John Cardiel
Close your eyes and try to create the mental image of a crooked grind or a back smith on transition… Or even a front board on a handrail. Do those silhouettes not weirdly look like Cardiel’s versions of those tricks? He has a unique way of always throwing his whole body into every trick and I think those shapes must have just been permanently burnt into our brains by Sight Unseen and all the Anti-Hero videos. And then obviously Sneep fucking killed it with the editing on this one but I guess we’re used to that now… This is definitely going to be on heavy rotation over this quarantine.
