Nocturnup: Seoul

Nocturnup was born from the mind of Daryl Dominguez after visiting Bangkok in 2016. After seeing so many spots that were too crowded with people during the day, not to mention the extreme sun’s heat, the idea for Nocturnup was formed after speaking with good friend and filmer Nick ‘the bastard’ Richards.

Filmed entirely at night, Nick Richard’s latest Nocturnup takes place in Seoul. Featuring Chris Colbourn, Jasper Dohrs, Daryl Dominguez, Marquise Henry, Davide Holzknecht and Tom Delion.

Nick Richrads: “Nocturnup is a skate project centered around a chosen city filmed solely at night. So far all of the trips have been in Asia, where during the daytime the metropolises are heavily congested and typically too hot to function. So far Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul have been visited with more cities on the horizon (Covid permitting). One key benefit of skating in Asia is that we will leave our respective cities in Europe on a night flight, sleep for 10 hours on the plane and wake up in our destination in the early evening, ready to explore our new temporary hometown.”
