An exploration of what skateboarding is and where it can take you.
‘Skatefilm has several chapters, all of which are very different in meaning and mood, with skateboarding as the only common thread. The actors, the scenery, the script, and the animations offer even more scope for creativity. Some of the ideas are grouped emotionally into a single chapter: communication with security, art, travel, searching for new places to ride, music and cartoons. Separately they would look empty, but together they create a full picture.’
