How women are fighting for safe skate-spaces in Athens! | Free Movement | The World On Board #1
An excellent little doc by Free Movement and Skateistan. In 2024, “Skateistan in a Box” partnered with Free Movement in support of their outreach work in Athens. But the city is changing and safe spaces are few and far between. The women on their team are leading a push back, adapting to reach more young people, especially girls. They invited us to see this for ourselves. ‘The World On Board’ is a series of short documentaries, in which we spend some time with our Skateistan Schools, SIAB Partners and The Goodpush projects to find out what’s going down in their communities.
This is a global movement for change, through skateboarding and creative learning.
