Today we’ve got something a bit different: a collection of precious Suvilahti DIY moments from the last few years, captured and compiled by Calle Hasselblatt in the context of its future sadly still remaining very uncertain… With no protected status in sight or any kind of clear messaging from the city of Helsinki, every summer has felt like the last for the locals since we released Ines Särkkä and Oona Markkanen Do It Together in back 2021 and that energy is palpable (in a good way). It’s a magical space like few still exist on the planet, and there’s nothing like watching the people we owe it to make memories and soake up the good times like there’s no tomorrow. Plus the skating itself is fucking nuts…
