Schianta Lepori – Molti Schianti

Skating really has a way of keeping you on your toes… This one got sent over to us just as we were in the midst of a Marek Kocak binge. There we were, calmly craving measure, structure and classic form when this curly, floppy armed wildcard starts flying down some banks, rattling around on a pair of Daewon-esque trucks, and we’re hooked. Our plans to go pretend to be Kalis and do laps of the nearest (fake) plaza are immediately put on hold and suddenly it’s all about finding some kind of steep incline to fling ourselves into (narrowly avoiding death if possible). Not to say Schianta doesn’t have the skill to back up the bravery: that front blunt flip out over the dirt gap could easily have its place in any classically trained ledgetarian’s part… But yeah, it’s really the looseness that kept us coming back for more here. That and just how much this lanky bundle of joy’s skating matches his personality. Dude is all smiles, full commitment, 100% of the time – love it.

Brought to you by Paul Labadie and the good people at Ashes.
