Bjarne Tjøtta – GÅCCHE
First you share a part with your homie and Vans teammate, this leads to sponsorship by Antiz. Then, a year later, another part with Gabe and an interview in Free. The name Bjarne Tjøtta should have been cemented in your brains by now. Well recently this stylish Norwegian went pro, and here is Bjarne’s new “GÅCCHE” video part by Pekka to coincide.
A little bit about the title “GÅCCHE” by Pekka: “It kinda translates to impossible or can’t be done. We wanted to get a really long bs 50-50 going slightly downhill and we thought we found the perfect ones multiple times. But every time he (Bjarne) tried for half an hour before saying «Gåcche», which was my cue to pack it up and start looking for the next one. We started calling the spots Gåcche 1, gåcche 2, gåcche 3 and so on. Finally we found that kinked one that’s in the part and that one is by far the sickest one too. Took a few trips and a whole lot of laquer and bondo and rub brick, but it finally worked out.”
