CAFE – ALLEGRO
Rich Smith’s HD journey continues with Cafe’s first proper release since he ditched the VX a couple of years back, and we’re going to go ahead and say it’s their best one yet. No point in pretending we’re not a bit biased here, but between that Dan Clarke part (nobody else could make a nollie double flip look that cool), the endless Shaun Currie smiles peppered throughout, and the way Bristol’s sacred Lloyds amphitheatre and the friendships that were formed there remain the glue holding the whole thing together… It’s hard not to get emotional. Hope we get another 10 years of these.
