Parade Ground

Brian Hunter puts skateboarding’s most fetishised (and capricious) camera to good use in a 25-minute West Coast banger, which, amongst countless other highlights, from the spots to the tunes to the hucks, introduces us to the magic of two individuals we’re now going to be paying very close attention to: Noe Norris and Rob Milas. Every Noe clip feels like it could have lived in Listen’s Viajeros Locos, straight up oozing with flavour and grace as he flows between perfectly chosen moves (not wanted a pair of Ipaths this bad since the reboot). Rob is on some modern-day Kenny Hughes shit, with impeccable posture, lofty snaps, and landings so staunch you half expect the camera to shake as he rolls away. Thank you for putting us on to these guys, Ryan Alvero!
