Denny Pham’s “Intersections” part
Hanoi, Lisbon, New York, Berlin, Barcelona, Bangkok, Paris… Are we forgetting anywhere? Been thoroughly enjoying watching Denny slowly refine his trick selection as he continues to live his best life in various envy-inducing corners of the globe, his trademark nonchalant style ageing like fine wine, switch/nollie game as sharp as ever.
Opening the part with that marathon line and closing it with the banger/breather/banger one was a nice touch too. They felt like two completely different approaches to sequencing impossible moves: one that locks you in and sets the pace, the other signals that it’s almost time for you, the viewer, to start gently easing your way out of this tech onslaught…
