Predominantly filmed between Oslo, London, Barcelona and Zurich, éS’ Terminal 001 achieves something virtually impossible for shoe brands in this new ‘restricted travel’ era of post-pandemic skateboarding: cohesion. Everyone’s on different filmers scattered across Europe, one minute you’ve got Dougie George boosting frontside flips out of some obscure North London industrial estate crust, the next you’re trying to make sense of an incomprehensible Enrique Lorenzo move at Sants… It’s an impossible brief, like it shouldn’t make sense, yet somehow – possibly because it feels like the start of something fresh and exciting – it does.
