Vans Presents: Scandis
A year and a half after Nordic Light Vans’ freshly revamped Scandinavian squad is still shining brighter than ever, releasing an all new 11 minute edit entitled Scandis. This one serves as a excuse to formally introduce a bunch of new heads to the team (including Free faves Bjarne Tjøtta, Gabriel Bjørsvik and Aleksi Suovaara), whilst offering us with yet another mind-blowing Tommi Björk part. I’m still a bit confused as to why Tommi’s obsession for exploring Helsinki’s roofs seemingly developed at the very peak of winter though… I wonder if it has to do with the low temperatures making that squishy ground a bit harder / easier to pop off? Either way that doesn’t make shovelling snow off a 4 story building to tailslide some death-defying bank in artic temperatures any more appealing…
