A bunch of different factors have contributed to Malmö’s skate scene becoming what it is today. Having brands like Polar or Poetic Collective set up there is an obvious one, as is the city’s will to include skateboarders in conversations about public space. Then there’s Bryggeriets Gymnasium, and how it’s steadily churned out ridiculously talented skateboarders ever since its inception… But one element that’s often overlooked (despite being an integral part of this little ecosystem) is Streetlab Skateshop and the role it’s played in supporting the scene since 2001. The latest reminder of this is Lemonade, a hype-inducing 24 minute video by Anthony Roscini that features everyone we wanted to see as well some fresh faces to watch out for (more Oscar G and Mira footage please).
